My first half term as a Junior Jam Media Tutor!

I joined Junior Jam at the start of November. At first, I was nervous as I'd never taught large groups before, just one-to-one lessons. It turned out to be the most fun and rewarding experience I could have hoped for. The children were absolutely invested in the lessons and seeing the enthusiasm some of the kids had for making music was amazing. 

The learning curve was really smooth and I feel like I've become so much more confident as a teacher. I can handle most situations and if support is needed, I always have someone available to help. I'm very grateful to have been given the opportunity to teach the type of subjects that I currently teach. The variation is incredible, ranging from music to photography to IT programming and even stop motion animation. There is so much content to engage the kids and it's teaching me a lot at the same time. I'm having a fantastic time. Thanks!
