We are providing engaging and fun lessons in Sport, Spanish and Drama at St Pauls Catholic Primary in Plymouth.

Tom our super sports coach had this to say: ”The focus for this weeks PE lesson was learning how to create space through invasion games. It was great to see all children engage in the physical activities provided, they particularly enjoyed 'Capture The Flag' and 'Target zone'. The Spanish must have been a real hit as all of the children were speaking the language throughout their PE! Looking forward to next weeks PE and Spanish phrases already!”

We also heard from our amazing Spanish instructor, “On Friday, my day at St Paul’s School went great.

I started the lessons with a 10 minutes introduction about the Spanish Language and Culture then I moved on to basics like the alphabet (Phonics related so they can pronounce correctly when reading Spanish) then we moved on to Greetings and Farewells. Lessons were supported with handouts information, PowerPoint presentations and a music video.

It was a great day based on the fact that after the lessons pupils from most classes said to me good bye and other words learnt in '’Spanish’'  also one pupil from Year 6 said ‘’Thank you for teaching us’’ which made my day others were asking me if I am coming back and when I said yes to them, they said Yeah!”
