Welcoming The new Junior Cover Manager Jack!

Even though I have been with the company for a short amount of time, I feel like I’ve already learnt so much and grown as an individual! I really enjoy learning about the lessons I am teaching, and the training has really helped me understand how Junior Jam work. As a music producer, I particularly enjoy the Imedia course ‘iJam’ as this course is about music production and using GarageBand. With the training, I feel so comfortable teaching iJam and I have been given the oppurtunity to teach this a few times now and I can see the pupils really enjoying this and understanding how to create music they would not have been able to do before. As a leader this is really rewarding. I have also had training in how to teach djembe drumming which is something I had no experience with before I worked with Junior Jam. However, this is such a fun lesson to teach to others, and I really like how we also teach the cultural side to African drumming, not just how to play them. I have also never worked in an office environment before and even though I am still finding my feet; all the office staff have been really welcoming and supportive and I cannot wait for many more successful weeks with Junior Jam!
